Mr. Leslie C. King, 78, a prominent Montgomery County dairy farmer, died on Friday, Nov. 29, at his home, Kingstead Farms, Damascus.
He was born in Kings Valley, a son of the late Crittenden and Maggie Florence Watkins King, and was the husband of Bertha M. King.
He was a member of the Holstein-Friesian Association, the Farm Bureau, the Dairy Shrine, and was a 50-year member of the Maryland-Virginia Milk Producers Association. He was a member of the Upper Seneca Baptist Church, Cedar Grove.
Surviving are six sons: Maurice C. King, Thurmont; Irving King, at home; Harold R. King, at home; Douglas E. King, at home; James F. King, Frederick; Paul R. King, Delta, Pa.; three daughters, Miss Mary F. King, at home; Mrs. Gloria Daly, of Bowie; and Miss Jane King, at home. There are nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus, where services will be held Monday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rene Georges Olivier will officiate. Interment will be in the Upper Seneca Baptist Cemetery, Cedar Grove.
