Visitation after 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Hackleburg Church of God. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the Hackleburg Church of God. Burial in Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg, Alabama.
Mr. Fincher was born August 25, 1926 to the late Madison Mears Fincher and Ora Jones Fincher. He was a World War II Veteran. He married Willodean Stephens Fincher on November 4, 1944.
He was preceded in death by his father, Madison Mears Fincher; his mother, Ora Jones Fincher; 3 brothers, Glenn Fincher, Arlie Fincher, and Auble Lee Fincher; 5 sisters, Jessie Dillard, Betty Carden, Nina Walker, Mae Augustino, and Mary Eunice Fincher.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Jenny Stidham & husband, Charles, JoAnn Scott & husband, Wayne; 2 sons, Larry Fincher & wife, Linda, and Wayne Fincher & wife, Carolyn; 1 brother, Joe L.
