GARY DWAYNE GATES age 44 of Lascassas, TN died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. He was a native of Rutherford County.
Mr. Gates is survived by his wife, Dawn Pomeroy Gates; daughters, Angela, Melissa, Kimberly, Rebecca and Ashley Gates all of Lascassas, TN; parents, Raymond and Shirley Carter Gates of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Ricky and Mark Gates both of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Cynthia Sasnett and Kathryn Gates both of Murfreesboro, TN and Kimberly Gates of Smyrna, TN; grandson Joshua Johnston of Lascassas, TN
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at the Rutherford County Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Chisgar will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
Mr. Gates attended Rutherford County Baptist Church and was an auto mechanic. He was a 1985 graduate of Smyrna High School and a U.S. Army veteran. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
