Funeral services were conducted this morning for Mrs. Theresa Dorsey, mother of the famed Dorsey brothers, Tommy and Jimmy. She was the widow of Thomas Dorsey Sr., also a widely-known musician, who died in 1942. Mrs. Dorsey resided in the village of Mar-Lin, near Minersville. The funeral was held from the Hummel Funeral Home, Minersville, with further services in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Minersville. Interment took place in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah.
