"Bertie Randolph Abendroth"
Funeral services for Bertie Randolph Abendroth, 61, of Needville, were held from the Needville Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Abendroth passed away in a Pasadena hospital at 11:30 a.m. Monday. He was a native of Needville, a member of the Episcopal Church and also a member of the Rosenberg IOOF Lodge No. 735. He was a retired Gulf Oil Company employee.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Faye Abendroth of Needville; daughters, Mrs. M. H. Laird of Dickinson, Mrs. Al Smith, Jr. of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Miss Frances Abendroth of Needville; son, B. R. Jr. of Pasadena; sisters, Mrs. Aleen Lyons of Wharton, Mrs. Herman Collins of Burtas, La., Mrs. Merle Weedman of Grand Rapids, S.D.; brothers, John of New Orleans, La., Charles Frank, Sr. of Brazoria, O. F. of Bay City and G. F. of Shreveport, La. and four grandsons.
Odd Fellows will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Park with arrangements under the direction of Garmany & Company Funeral Directors.* * *
