Thurs. Jan. 16, 1975 Grady Brent Driskell, 51, of Jasper, TX, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Jan. 9, in Angelina County, TX. Born July 23, 1923 in Trinity County, Mr. Driskell was self employed as a housing contractor in Jasper. He was a veteran of WW II. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 10, at 1 p.m. from the Callaway Memorial Chapel with Mr. Jim McDonald officiating. Interment as in the Holly Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark Barclay, Maurice Barclay, Brent Willis, O. J. Willis, Paul Sluder and Frank Brent. Survivors include one son, Grady M. Driskell of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Ellis Scott of Lyman, Wash., Mrs. Erva Vae Bignar of Deer Park, Mrs. Helen Willis of Jasper and Mrs. Mixie Willis of Lufkin; one brother, Raymond Driskell of Pasadena. Callaway Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
