Chico Record (Chico, California) 16 Oct 1931, Friday Page 2: George L. Banks, Ex-Lumberman, Dies In Chico. George L. Banks, a retired lumberman and a resident of Chico for the last 18 years, died at 11:45 o'clock last night at his home, 4231 Twelfth Street.
He was a native of Nevada, and was a member of Los Angeles Aerie No. 102, Fraternal Order of Eagles. The widow, Mrs. Ivy Banks is the sole survivor. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bicknell & Moore.
