Verena was born the daughter of Frank J. & Mary Ramert Haberman. She graduated from Heron Lake High School. She married Henry Jentges June 8, 1936 in Heron Lake. She moved to Mankato in 1955 and was employed at Thro Drug and Thomas Electric. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Verena passed away at the St. Peter Community Hospital.
Henry & Verena were the parents of Julie (Richard) Olund, Bob, and Brian.
Verena's siblings include Mary Jo (Leonz) Schooley, Herbert (Virginia) Haberman, Francis (Bernadine) Haberman, & Jeanette (James) Hady.
Funeral services were held from Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato, Rev. Ed Ardolf officiating.
