Edna Cline, 99 years old, of Petersburg, passed away on December 28, 2010. She was a resident of Petersburg area all her life. Her husband Robert passed away in 1989.

She is survived by four children, Margaret Louise (Ron) Urbanik of Naples, FL and Door County, WI, John (Joan) Cline of Arlington Heights, IL, Dr. Jim Cline of Petersburg, and Dr. Joe (Sue) Cline of Madison, WI; six grandchildren, Kelly (Mike) Drapeau, Jason (Mary) Cline of Mt. Prospect, Bruce (Denise) Urbanik of Dousman, WI, Sandy (Greg) Rechtsteiner of Portland, OR, Abbey (Ben) Venturini and Haley Cline of Petersburg, Ben Cline of Salt Lake City, UT, and Tim Cline of Madison, WI; and four great grandchildren, Katelyn and Nathan Drapeau, and Natalie and Alex Cline.

She was predeceased by parents Edward and Lizzie Dencker. A sister, Margaret passed away in 1980.

She was a very involved farm wife and lived on the family farm most of her life. She was a 4-H leader, life member of the Greenview United Church, a long-time worker for Greenview Band Parents, and always very closely involved with her extended family. Her grandchildren spent much time with her, especially in the summer on the farm. To her family she was a strong, wise, and loving matriarch.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenview United Church. Rev. Julie Wells Blythe will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.

Memorial contributions may be made to Greenview United Church or donors choice.
