According to one on of Leo's children, Leo may have had polo. They did not know back in those days. Leo had to live with what he had.

Leo passed away on Sept 1954. A Morton family member attended his funeral. They Morton were connected with Robert L. Lankford form KY. Morton may have been the family slave name. Leo was buried at Ashland Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri.
