Surviving are his mother, Grace Gray Chittum, Salem; one brother, Melvin E. Chittum, Vinton; three sisters, Mrs. Audrey M. Cumbie, Hollins; Mrs. Annie E. Griffith, Salem; Miss Edna J. Chittum, Vinton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Rev. Jim C. Brackett and Rev. William E. Hungate will officiate. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
