This community was saddened Sunday on hearing of the death of Harley Carson which occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday. He was driving north from Ottawa and for some reason the car left the road, going in a ditch, rolling over and pinning him underneath. He was working for Bert Carson. He has a wife and children living in Des Moines. The funeral was held in Osceola Tuesday at 2 p.m. and his body laid to rest in the Ottawa cemetery. All sympathize with the bereaved family.
