Beulah Mae Imes was a daughter of Isaac Butler Imes and Permelia Venora Blair Imes. Beulah Mae Imes and Rensler Lyman Pomeroy were married in Colorado City, Colorado on April 17, 1907. Beulah Imes Pomeroy and Rensler Lyman Pomeroy had three children, Dorothea, Rensler, and Geraldine (Jerry), while living in Colorado. Rensler had a mining degree and helped solve problems related to the mines in Sawpit, Colorado. Rensler had a cold and it is believed the cold helped him contract pneumonia after going down in a mine while ill. Rensler's death at the young age of 39 was attributed to acute pneumonia. Beulah's youngest daughter, Geraldine, was 15 months old at the time of her Father's death. Following Rensler's death, Beulah moved her family to Mesa, AZ where she had relatives. As a single parent, Beulah worked to support her children. Beulah was President of the Mesa Business and Professional Woman's Club. Several years after moving to Arizona, Beulah married Delmer J. Stroup. Beulah and D.J. Stroup were married on September 7, 1926, in Nogales, AZ. Both Beulah and D.J. were Mesa residents and continued to live in Mesa, AZ. Several years after D.J.'s passing, Beulah moved to Bend, OR to be near her son, Rensler Lyman Pomeroy, and his family.
