Miss Vida Daniel married J.A. Wainscott on 2 December 1903 at Carter County, Oklahoma.

The community was saddened at the news of the death of Jim Wainscott of Wichita Falls. His parents were old settlers of Olney.

His brothers, Howard and Wilson Wainscott and families and sister - Mrs. A.C. Canshan and family attended the funeral. Mr. Wainscott was buried here in Olney among his people. He had been in bad health for several years.
