DELHI--Funeral services for W.S. Mitchell, 72, of Monticello, were at 10am today at Kidder-Cox Funeral Home here with Rev. Jack Barnes officiating. Burial was in New Hop Cemetery. Mr. Mitchell died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Alexandria after a long illness. Survivors include three sons, Billy Mitchell of St. Josephs, the Rev. James Mitchell of Dry Prong, and Roy Mitchell of Lake Providence; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Harold King Jr., Billy Castal Castilaw, D.H. Smitherman, W.L. Humbe, Morris Coleman and Jimmy Coleman.
