Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Shoultz chapel for Alfred Fisher, 45, who died at his home in New Harmony, the Rev. R.C. Skelton, pastor of the Johnson Methodist Church officiating. Burial followed in Maple Hill cemetery.
Mr. Fisher had been in ill health for a number of years and previous to that time engaged in farming. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; two sons, Morris and Alfred; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Eakins, Mrs. George Jacobs and Mrs. Howard Garrett all of New Harmony; two brothers, Hugar of this place and Martin, who is in the service.
