Vera K. Henderson
Vera K. Henderson, who grew up in Dos Rios, died Oct. 14, 1993 in Salinas where she had lived with her daughter, Ruth Buell for the last two months. She was 85.
A graveside service will begin 2 p.m. Monday in the Valley View Cemetery on Cemetery Lane if Covelo.
Mrs. Henderson had been living in Winterhaven near Yuma, Arizona for the past six years before becoming ill recently. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and traveling.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a brother, Glen Johnson of Dos Rios; sisters Hazel Williams of Dos Rios; Nina Furlong of Nice and Florence Houston of Marysville; three grandchildren, Carolinna Buchholt of Salinas; William Buckholz of Portersville and Mike Buell of Mountain View and four great grandchildren.
The Struve and Laporte Funeral Home in Salinas is handling the arrangements.
