Mrs. Louis Fisher died at her home on the Cut-off Island last Saturday after a brief illness of five days. The cause of her death was Bright's disease. Had she lived until next January she would have been 66 years of age. Mrs. Fisher was a devoted wife and mother and her home was always the center of much hospitality. She was exceedingly industrious and possessed more than ordinary business ability. The Fisher family has always been one of the largest cultivators of land on the Cut-off and their family has long been identified with its resources. Mrs. Fisher is survived by a husband and the following children: Mrs. Ella Hyatt, Mrs. Richard Eakins, Mrs. Howard Garrett, Mrs. George Jacobs, John, Alfred, Martin and Hugar Fisher.

Gone But Not Forgotten
In memory of Mrs. Louis Fisher who died Nov. 21, 1924.

Darling Mother how we miss you
God and God alone can tell
Sad and long has been the waiting
Since we said our last farewell
Soon the waiting will be over
Sorrow and pain will be no more
When I can meet with you dear Mother
On that bright and golden shore.
Mrs. Richard Eakins
