Laura Massart Obituary:
Laura J. Massart (Mrs. Orville), 77, Luxemburg, WI, formerly of Rosiere, passed away Saturday evening June 2, 2007, at Anna's House in New Franken, WI. She was born Oct. 16, 1929, to the late John and Ida (Draye) Cravillion.
On May 24, 1952, she married Orville Massart at St. Martin Church, Tonet.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and gardening. She was a wonderful baker and used her talents to help benefit her Church community.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Orville;
and their two sons, Myron (Becky) Massart and Douglas Massart, all of Luxemburg;
two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;
three sisters and one brother-in-law: Marie Mattice, Algoma; Elsie Lemens, Luxemburg; Ellen (Randy) Boulanger, Duvall;
one sister-in-law, Florence Massart, Rosiere.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Cravillion;
one sister and three brothers-in-law, Rita (Alois) Treml, Donald Lemens and Harry Massart.
Friends may call at the MCMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 8 p.m. Monday June 4, 2007, (today). Prayer service 5:30 p.m Monday. Visitation will continue Tuesday June 5, 2007, between 9 and 10:15 a.m. at St. Hubert Church, Rosiere. Funeral 10:30 a.m. at the Church with the Rev. Jerome Taddy officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
