Kimberlin

James Earl Kimberlin was born November 20, 1926 in Farmersville, Texas to John Kimberlin and Lou (Davis) Kimberlin and passed away October 27, 2009 at his home in Sayre, Oklahoma.

He grew up in Farmersville and joined the United States Navy at age 17 and served in World War II and the Korean War. He worked at odd jobs after his military service until he found oilfield where he worked until his retirement. James traveled around the world. He had been to Hawaii, Japan and Korea while in the Navy and his oil field work took him to England, Alaska, and the Arabian Gulf. He settled in Sayre, Oklahoma in 1977 and remained there until his passing in 2009.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his siblings: Ava Lou, Sylvia, Katherline, J.G., Jesse, and Ina.

Survivors include his three children: Patricia, Patrick Kimberlin, Jimmy Kimberlin; one grandchild, two great grandchildren, two stepchildren: Leroy Sadler of Canada and Joseph Sadler and family of Upton, Wyoming, and a sister, Maria Webster.

Finial arrangements were with People's Co-operative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. No services are planned.
