DOMINGUEZ

Services for Manuel H. Dominguez, 76, Hueco St., are pending at Denton Funeral Home. He was found dead on Monday.

Born in Marfa, Texas, on March 10, 1909, he moved to Carlsbad in 1940. He was a member of the San Jose Catholic Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Bertha D. Najera, Carlsbad; two grandchildren, whom he raised, Lisa Chavez and Virginia V. Laizolo, both of Carlsbad; two sisters, Paula Orona and Lola Dominguez, both of Odessa, Texas; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

DOMINGUEZ

Rosary will be said today at 7 p.m. in the Denton Funeral Home chapel for Manuel H. Dominguez, 75, Carlsbad, whose body was found Monday.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the San Jose Catholic Church, with the Rev. Noel Kramer officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ruben D. Najera, Alonzo D. Najera, Pete D. Najera, Jose Lerma, Raymond Cruz, Salina Orona and Freddy Orona.
