Leesville - Services for Bruce V. Price, 86, will be held Monday, 4 p.m. at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, with Rev. J. Hilton Roof officiating. Visitation will be tonight, 6-7:30 p.m. at Charles R. Shealy and Sons Funeral Home of Batesburg-Leesville. Pallbearers will be Jeff and Lance Caughman, Allen and ROdney Price, Andy Alberry, Billy Rodgers, Don Applegate, and Eddie Mack. Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church. Mr. Price died Feb. 17. Born in Gilbert, he was a son of the late Jacob C. B. and Annis Keisler Price. He had lived in Mims, Fla., for 35 years, before returning to Leesville. He was a retired foreman for Mims Citrus Growers, and was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Avon Price of Mims, Fla. Surviving are his wife, Mittie Swygert Price; children, Mrs. Shelby Price of Mims, Fla., and Mrs. Douglas (Faye) Caughman, of Leesville, Ronald J. Price of Leesville, Bobby Price of Titusville, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Noah (Lorene) Hite of Leesville, Ms. Vivian Price of Lumberton, N.C.; brother, Delmas Price of Gilbert; 14 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. © The State, Columbia, SC, 18 Feb 1996
