OBIT: (The first line of this obituary was cut off) -- intestinal influenza, David Dulaney, a ged 73 years, a prominent retired -- of Waynesburg, died Saturday evening, November 3, at 5 o'clock at his home in North Porter street, East End. Mr. Dulaney was a son of the late John and Matilda Calvert Dulaney and was born September 7, 1851, in Perry township, where he resided until 1902, when he removed to Cumberland township. He came to Waynesburg in 1906 and with the exception of a few years spent on a farm in Franklin township he had resided ever since in the Waynesburg community. He was the last of twelve children. In 1873 he was united in marriage to Esther J. Headley, who survives, and to this union were born six children, of whom four survive as follows: Mrs. W. W. Headley, of Waynsburg; I. Luther Dulaney, of Pittsburgh; Robert Dulaney, of Oakdale, and Miss Ocie L. Dulaney, at home. Mr. Dulaney was a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church and always took an active interest in church affairs. He had followed farming and stock raising all his life and had been quite successful. Short funeral services were held at the Dulaney home Monday morning at 11 o'clock and further services were held in the Shannon Run Methodist Episcopal church at 1 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. F. D. Esenwein, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Waynesburg. Interment was in the Cedar Grove cemetery at Mt. Morris.

RESIDENCE: Per obituary, lived in Waynesburg from 1906 to 1924, "with the exception of a fe w years spent on a farm in Franklin township."

DEATH: Died at 5:00PM, in his home. Services held at Shannon Run Methodist Episcopal Church , conducted by Rev. F.D. Esenwein, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Waynesburg.

CEMETERY: Cedar Grove Cemetery.
