CHARLES JOSEPH BISIO, 79, of Memphis, retired employee of Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., after 42 years, died of Alzheimer disease Sunday at Mid-South Christian Nursing Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, where he was a communicant and active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society, with burial in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army captain and received a Bronze Star. Mr. Bisio, the husband of Alice Pounders Bisio, also leaves a daughter, Alicia McKenzie of Germantown; a son, Anthony Bisio of Jupiter, Fla.; a sister, Beatrice Ann Bisio of Memphis, and two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to the Madonna Day School, St. Michael Catholic Church or the Mid-South Christian Nursing Home.
