Mrs. Blumie Pearl Chapman, 91 of 517 Penton died Saturday morning at a local hospital. Services will be 11:30 am Monday at Connally Compton Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, the Rev. George Stanton, the Rev. Lloyd Coffee and the Rev. G.P. Comer officiating. Buril will be in Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Chapman was born 15 Oct. 1891 in Falls Co. Texas. She lived in Waco most of her life. She and her husband O.T. Chapman were founders and owners of Chapman's Fruit Stands. He died in 1961. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Survivors include her four sons, J.D Chapman, W.E. Chapman, C.R. Chapman and Gene Chapman all of Waco. 18 grandchildren-33 grt grandchildren five grt grt granchildren.
