Services for Marcella Merle Lloyd Jones, 76, of Hobbs will were held Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at the Jefferson Street Church of Christ with Virgil Webb, minister, officiating.
She died in an automobile accident, Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in Hobbs.
She was born Sept. 28, 1923, in the Union community in Callahan County.
She married Vernon "Cowboy" Jones on July 18, 1941, in Fort Griffin.
She was an active member of the Jefferson Street Church of Christ and a member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tom of Hobbs and Spud of Timberton, N.M.; two daughters, Linda Jones of Baird and Cindy Snyder of Moran; two brothers, Burl Lloyd of Houston and Thomas Lee Lloyd of Parks, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
