Rose C. Harp
Rose Curtis Harp, 71, of Nichols Point Road, Bridgeport, died Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Mrs. Harp lived in Southwood most of her life before moving to Bridgeport eight years ago. She was the widow of Ernest N. Harp Sr. She was a member of Fyler Community Church. Surviving are three daughters, Leona Snell of Southwood, Flora Myers of Kirkville and Sandra Harp of Bridgeport; five sons, Ernest Jr. of Pulaski, Norman of Riverside, Calif., David of Southwood, Howard of Lynchburg, Va. and Daniel of Baldwinsville; five sisters, Betty Stagg of LaFayette, Joan Maser of Cleveland, Beverly Roney of Baldwinsville, Patricia Culkin of Mattydale and Doris St. Andrews; three brothers; James of Florida, Francis of Buffalo and Richard Curtis of Baldwinsville; 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Butler-Badman Funeral Home, the Rev. David Buchanan officiating. Spring burial will be in Oneida Castle Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Contributions may be made to Bridgeport Fire Department or Fyler Community Church.
