Moses Jr. held three land patents in Walworth Wisconsin near Lake Geneva. His sons Cyrus, Nathan and Jason each had land patents of their own. Three of his daughters married members of the Hand Family, two of which were children of his childhood friend Jesse Hand (who married another daughter of Asa Cowles). Most of the Hand and Cowles families from these generations are buried in Lyons Quaker and Hazel Ridge Cemeteries.
From Vol 1, p. 367 of Calvin D. Cowles (1929), Cowles Families in America book (Speaking of Lucy Cowles who married Jesse Hand and followed to Wisconsin): "Their children were prominent and their descendants are numerous in Wisconsin, and their Cowles and Fellows relatives have, for many years, maintained a Hand, Cowles and Fellows Family Association with annual reunions on the shores of Lake Geneva, WI."
