Nell Jones, age 81, of Crockett, was called to her eternal home March 13, 2017. She was born September 21, 1935 in Nacogdoches County, Texas to parents, Wallace Jackson Sims and Cleo Marie Shaver Sims. Nell was a member of Central Baptist Church, sang in the choir and worked for many years as a pharmacy sales clerk. She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone she met, and was steadfast in her faith in the Lord. Nell dearly loved spending time with the "Grands" and "Greatgrands" as she called them, especially if she could be at the pond to watch them fishing.
She is survived by her children, Randy D. Jones and wife, Joanie , Ronnie Glyn Jones and wife, Rita; grandchildren, Shauna R. Lavvorn and husband, Kenneth of Palestine, Marilyn Kate Jones, Alicia R. Farmer and husband, Wesley of , Aimee L. Christian and husband, Mike , Krystal L. Conrad and husband, Anthony, Jessica L. McDonald and husband, Matthew , Kristi Kostelnik and husband, Brian, and Stephanie Jones; sister, Patsy A. Johnson and husband, Robert (Bob) of Boerne; and a host of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Wallace D. Jones; son, Ricky Jones; infant daughter; Regina Ann Jones; grandsons, Jeremy G. Jones and Joshua A. Jones; parents, Mutt and Cleo Sims; and brother, Troy Glyn Sims.
Memorial services for Marjorie Nell Jones will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Baptist Church of Crockett with Rev. John Goss and Rev. Glynn Little officiating.
