Funeral services for PHYLLIS IRENE {OREM} OSBORNE, 80, Lehigh, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 23 at Lehigh Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Magby officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Okemah under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service in Coalgate. Osborne died on Monday, December 20, 2010 in Coalgate. Born in Iantha, Missouri on June 7, 1930, she was the daughter of Carl David and Irene {Depue} Orem. She attended school in McCune, Kansas. She was a member of Lehigh Baptist Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She married Willie Osborne on August 6, 1996 in Coalgate. Osborne was a waitress as well as the owner and operator of a plant farm. Preceding her in death were her parents, Carl David and Irene {Depue} Orem; a daughter, Brenda; two husbands, John Herndon and K.E. Tinkle; two brothers, Dave and Jimmy; and two sisters, Josie Larcum and Viola Jean.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Osborne of the home; two sons, John Herndon of Lehigh; and Steve Herndon, Kansas City, Mo.; five stepchildren, Al Osborne and wife, Dixie of Amber, Okla.; Wathina Winters and husband, Terry of Stonewall; Bill Osborne and wife, Christy of Norman; Susie Lackey and husband, Mark, Somerset, Kentucky; and Robert Tinkle; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Kenny Orem and wife, D.A., Pratt, Kansas; a sister, Elsie Walgomott and husband, Curtis, McCune, Kansas; a nephew, Wayne Larcum and wife, Mildred of Pittsburg, Kansas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers are R.D. Jones, John Faulkenberry, Al Osborne, Bill Osborne, Terry Winters and Craig Osborne.
