George Robert Harris, 82, Crandall, Mississippi, died at his residence March 14, as a result of a heart attack. Funeral services were held March 15, 2:30 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Rev C. W. Sheffield officiated, assisted by Rev Chester Mason, Interment church cemetery, survivors include wife Mrs. Emma Harris, daughter, Clara Harris, Crandall, son Robert W. Harris, Crandall; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Mayo, Crandall, Mrs. J. W. Chancellor, Sr., Hattiesburg; two brothers John W. Harris and Noah S. Harris, Crandall; active pallbearers were Luther Harris, Jim Chancellor, Albert Harris, Carol Mayo, Colie Harris, Mack Harris; Walters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
