Camille Robinson died peacefully on December 23, 2010. Born March 12, 1923 to George Vernon Bourne and Florence Ireta Hess Bourne in Garland, Utah, Camille grew up on the family farm with sisters Francis, Edithe Ireta, Sylvia Mae and Marlene, and brothers Don Vernon, Charles Henry, and LaMar. Camille loved the rolling farmland and mountains of northern Utah, and returned in her later years to live in Salt Lake City. Camille was a precocious student at Fielding Elementary School and Bear River High School, where she was active in the girls' pep club and school plays. Her beautiful voice and lively stage presence won her the lead in her senior year school play. After high school, Camille attended LDS Business College, rooming with her beloved Aunt Lucille and Uncle Harold Bowman in Salt Lake City. After working at the Clearfield Naval Depot, Camille married Jack Robinson and moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She is survived by her children Robert, Jack, Laurie and Elizabeth; her grandchildren Jessica, Robbie, Michael, Catie and Evan; and her brother, LaMar Bourne of Kaysville, Utah. A service for Helen Camille Bourne Robinson will be held on Wednesday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lindquist Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street in Kaysville, Utah. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
