Obituary for Julia Jander Fallwell

PALESTINE - Services for Mrs. Julia Jander Fallwell, 93, of Palestine, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palestine with Rev. Harold Paulsen officiating.

Rosary will be recited Friday at 6 p.m. Friday in Bailey & Foster Chapel in Palestine. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Palestine.

Mrs. Fallwell died Wednesday in her daughter's home in Houston following an extended illness.

She was born in Palestine Nov. 14, 1891, in Palestine, a daughter of William Martin Jander and Cora Krieg Jander. A lifelong resident of Palestine, she was a 1908 graduate of St. Mary's Academy and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leo Fallwell. Survivors include a daughter, Agnes Marie Greer of Houston; sons, Francis Leo Fallwell of Port Arthur and Clarence Fallwell of Pasadena, a brother, C.W. "Cap" Jander, Palestine; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Timothy Fallwell, Phillip Fallwell, Bill Fallwell, Patrick Fallwell, Michael Fallwell, and nephew A.D. Hurbrough, Jr.
