illness, Mrs. Elizabeth Schlie, 71,
widow of Frank Schlie, died last
night at her home, 113 Delong av.
A native of Germany, she had lived
in Syracuse for 51 years. She was
a member of the Altar Society,
Poor Souls* Society and the Third
Order of S t Francis of the Church
of the Assumption. Surviving are
a son, John A. Schlie; a daughter,
Mrs. John Herbert Nann, and five
grandchildren. The funeral will
take place from the home at 8:30
a. m, Thursday and a requiem mass
will be celebrated a half hour later
at the Church of the Assumption,
with burial in Assumption cemetery.
