1870 US Census: living in Fairmount, Leavenworth Co. Ks. with a couple, John and Victoria Kelly. Levi, Jr. is listed as a merchant, while the Kellys are farmers.

1880 US Census: Levi is a clerk in a dry goods store. he is with Elizabeth (wife), and Robert (4), Levi(2),and Lizzie 4 months old, and Elizabeth's mother Annie (76).

1885 : Levi defeated David Keller in 1885 and won the second term in 1887.
1886: Levi is sheriff, and selects Peter C. Becker is under-sheriff,
William Pickens is guard and Wm D. Kelly (colored) is a guard.
1887: 30 Jan: Richard Wood was lynched by a mob for committing rape.
1889: Levi married Hattie Walkencinez in Independence.
1889: 1 July: Levi steps down as Sheriff amongst a threat by Young Republicans to bring charges against him. Upon resigning to Gov. Humphreys, the lawsuit charges were dropped. Humphreys appoints Fred Willard to replace Levi as sheriff.
1889: 3 July: Willard (Republican Party) is cleaning up the jail. (Probably one of the issues)
1889: 9 Dec: Chauncey Flora (Democrat) replaces Willard and finishes Churchill's 2nd Term.
1893: Levi lived at 735 Oak St.
1901: Levi was part owner of grocers Progress (Levi Churchill & J.V. Pollinger)
1915 US CENSUS: Levi is now living in Wyandotte Co. with his daughter, Elizabeth and her husband F. G Palmer.
1920 US CENSUS: Levi is a lodger at the household of Jeremiah Allen in Leavenworth.
1922: Levi Died at 85 years of age.
