Robert Jackson, 85, died Oct. 1, 1967, in the Piggott Hospital. Born Feb. 15, 1882, in Harrisburg, Illinois, the son of John Savage Jackson and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Jackson.

He married Ella Elizabeth Payne in Greenway on Jan. 14, 1905. She died March 13, 1949. Their children are, Aaron Harold Jackson, Walter Ray Jackson, Blanche Lavey Jackson, Leslie Doyle Jackson, Oma Zahela Jackson, Robert Ford Jackson, Mary Marquerite Jackson and John Rex Jackson.

Robert married Clarice Louise Warbritton in Rector on May 1, 1950.

Robert went to the Church of Christ. He was a farmer and raised hogs and cattle.
