BEREA — Larie L. Lunceford, 67, of Daisy Road, died suddenly Monday, March 29, 2010, in Saint Joseph Hospital Berea.
Larie was born in Shell Creek, Tenn., to the late Joseph A. and Nora Presnell Lunceford. He was a retired from the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his parents, Larie was also preceded in death by: three brothers, Andrew, Ellis and Aden Lunceford; and one sister, Ruby Lunceford.
He is survived by: his wife, Anna Dillon Lunceford; three children, Larie Lunceford Jr. of Kansas, Jamie Lee Lunceford of Alaska and Amy Lynn Evans of Richmond; eight grandchildren, Evian, Sierra and Justice Lunceford, Wade, Dalton and Tristan Evans, and Larie Lee Lunceford III and Bailey Ann Lunceford; one brother, David (Wilma) Lunceford of Richmond; two sisters, Stella (Richard) Lybrook and Dessie (Bill) True, both of Peru, Ind. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Lakes Funeral Home with the Rev. Vince Carman and the Rev. Kurt Davis officiating. Services will be with full military honors. The family will accept friends from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
