MURRAY, Ky.--Services for Louis C. Kerlick, 81, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home here with the Rev. Terry Garvin and Dr. Wendell Ray officiating. Burial will be in Murray City Cemetery.
Mr. Kerlick died at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he worked in civil service at Kelly Airfield in San Antonio and retired from Air Products Chemicals in Calvert City. He was a member and former trustee of First Baptist Church of Murray, where he served as a Sunday school teacher. He was a native of Yorktown, Texas.
Surviving are his wife, Bess Thurman Kerlick; two sons, James Michael Kerlick of Madisonville and Louis C. Kerlick III of Murray; one sister, Bernice Gotthardt of Pleasanton, Texas; one granddaughter, Kathryn Kerlick of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Louis C. Kerlick Sr. and Leona Micher Kerlick.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
