The funeral service for Pamela Gail Autry will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Elkins Funeral Home chapel, Florence, with Dr. Ralton McCarley officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pamela was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Florence and was a Sunday school teacher there for many years. She was an LPN nurse at Florence Medical Associates. She was an extreme cat lover and loved all six of her cats dearly. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Raymond W. Autry, and a sister, Ella Sue Lovelace. Pam is survived by her mother, Marjorie Aliene Autry; brother, William Gary Autry and wife, Sandra K. Autry; one nephew, John Autry; one niece, Jennifer Owens; two great-nephews, Brandon and Christian Autry; one great-niece, Anessa Guyton; a very special friend, Linda Tucker, who is just like a sister to her. Pallbearers will be Dr. Bill Hobbs, Roger Guyton, Carl McGrady, Allen Gresham, Wallace Smith and Wallace Bailey. Larry Tucker and members of Broadway Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
