AMERICAN FALLS — Helen June Uruburu, 75, of American Falls, Idaho, died June 7, 2007, at Harms Memorial Hospital.

Helen was born June 28, 1931, to Francisco and Deonisa Aguirre in American Falls and lived there most of her life. She went to school in American Falls, and after she graduated, moved down to Salt lake City, Utah, were she went to nursing school and graduated with an LPN degree. During her time in Salt Lake she met the love of her life, Julian Uruburu. They were married in Elko, Nevada, on November 5, 1956. Helen and Julian moved back to American Falls, and Helen worked as a nurse. She retired from Harms Memorial Hospital after 40 years of nursing in American Falls.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ann (Ron) Jeppsen, three grandchildren , Matthew Jarid Brucks, Melissa Kathryn Brucks and Ryan William Jeppsen; one brother, Phil (Arlene) Aguirre , and two sisters, Irene Ytuarte and Julie Zacharias. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband , Julian.
