Mr. Kenneth D. Royster, age 66, husband of Mary Marsha McAbee Royster, of 612 Kelly Rd. Union, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Restorative Care.

Mr. Royster was born in Union, SC February 5, 1944, a son of the late George Alfred and Cecille Johns Royster. He was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Technical College.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter: Nicole Gregory and husband Ronnie of Union; a sister: Brenda Lawson and husband Ronnie of Putman; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Royster was pre-deceased by a brother: George A. "Dickie" Royster.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. William Adams. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Lawson, Chris Smith, Jimmy Gregory, Dustan Gregory, Eugene Adams and Gene Adams.

The family will be at the home of his daughter: Nichole Gregory, 139 Bentley Town Rd., Union, SC 29379.
