Jerry L Atkins was born the son of Helen N Atkins. He had a brief; yet none the less, active stint in the USMC-R and was a retired over the road truck driver. He fathered several children all by different relationships and raised three step children as well. His passion in life was fishing and he had a great love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and in his last years an avid flower gardener. He lived his entire life in the town he grew up in. He had 10 grandchildren at his passing whom he loved very much.
