CHICOPEE - Richard C. Hottin, Sr., died April 14 in the Holyoke Soldiers Home. He was born in Chicopee to the late Ovalor R. and Gwendolyn (Henry) Hottin. Richard attended Chicopee High School and served two enlistments in the Marine Corps. He also was a longtime member of Post 337 American Legion. Richard served the City of Chicopee as a firefighter and retired in August 1994 at the rank of Lieutenant. He leaves his son, Richard C. Hottin, Jr. and his wife Anna of Springfield; a daughter, Debra Hottin of Chicopee; and two granddaughters, Angela M. and Shannon E. Hottin of Springfield. Richard was formerly married to Nancy M. (Keller) Radwanski of Chicopee. Funeral services were held April 20 at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee , with burial in Fairview Cemetery , Fairview Street, Chicopee . Memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics of Pioneer Valley, 380 Union St., Suite 3, West Springfield, MA 01089.
