Norman W. Beil, 1625 Swatara Street, died yesterday at his home after a lingering illness. He was 47 years old.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bessie A. Beil; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Gaffney, of this city and Miss Winifred M. Beil, at home, and a son, Weston N. Beil, also at home. Other survivors are his father, Jacob Beil, of Harrisburg; three brothers, Leroy and Clarence, of this city and Jacob of Shiremanstown, and three sisters, Mrs. Leola Peifer and Mrs. Gertrude Beck of Harrisburg and Mrs. Catherine Taggart, of Washington, D. C.

Mr. Beil was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Phoenix Lodge of Knights of Pythias, Brotherhood of America and Independent Order of Americans, this city, and the P. O. S. of A. in Steelton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the funeral parlors of Hoover & Son, 1413 North Second Street. The Rev. F. W. Teske, pastor of the Fourth Reformed Church, of which Mr. Beil was a member, will officiate. The body may be viewed at the funeral parlors tomorrow afternoon and evening. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery.
