He was an architect in Salt Lake City & worked on major structures on the Univ. of Utah and Utah State Univ. campuses, the complete interior remodeling and restoration of the Utah State Capitol Building, and was part of the team that designed and supervised the construction of the SLC Federal Building. He was named a Fellow by the American Institute of Architects in 1965, served as president of the local A.I.A. chapter in 1945 and was elected to the national board for three consecutive terms from 1960 through 1963.
