William Harvey Snodgrass, a nephew of Wm. Hesse, of this city, at the residence of his parents, Stace S. and Celia Snodgrass, north of Belvue. The deceased was born Feb. 23, 1877, died Nov. 5, 1894. Age 17 years 8 months and 12 days. He was beloved and respected by all who knew him. Deceased came to his death by being accidentally shot. He came home on the evening of Nov. 5 shortly after 9 o’clock and went up stairs to his valise. While at his valise was when the report of a revolver was heard. He was perfectly sober, or appeared to be, when he went upstairs. He was seen going to his valise but was not seen at it. It is supposed he was accidentally shot while taking his revolver out of his pocket to put in his valise. He only lived fifteen or twenty minutes. May he rest in peace.
