CHERYL YVONNE LANZ, 61, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at home. She was very passionate about supporting animal rescue and spent many hours volunteering for the cause. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Charles Lanz of Fort Wayne; mother, Dola Dawson Smith of Fort Wayne; son, Michael McKenzie of Louisville, Ky.; stepchildren, Tom Lanz of Clarksville and Erica Biffel of New Albany; and brother, Thomas H.
