Sarah Butcher passed away peacefully on December 20, 2010. She resided at 1555 West Southgate Avenue (2737 South) in the Redwood area of West Valley City, Utah at the time of her death.
She was born October 19, 1935 to Joseph Ernest and Leona Butterfield. She was the oldest of her siblings. She married Willard Vernal Butcher; together they had five children.
She is survived by four children, Sherral (Vernon) Jackson, Willard (Jolene) Butcher, Chad Duane Butcher, Jenny (Dave) Stoddard. She is preceded in death by her husband and one child, Barbara Butcher.
Funeral Services will be held on December 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary (10055 South State Street (100 East), Sandy). There will be a viewing held one hour prior.
Interment will follow immediately.
