T.C. Bishop, 86, formerly of Old Liberty Road, husband of the late Louise Marquette Trammell Bishop, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Easley Living Center.

Mr. Bishop was born in Anderson County, and was a son of the late Doc and Emma Brown Bishop. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a self employed construction worker. Mr. Bishop was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Pat Granger and husband, Fred, of Pickens, and Peggy Bishop and husband, Robert, of Greenville; a son, Steve Bishop, of Easley; a sister, Clarissa Nalley, of Easley; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Bishop, a daughter, Carolyn Garren, a brother, Bill Bishop, two sisters, Ruby Albertson and Ora Holiday, and two grandsons, Bubba Zane Blue and Justin Blake Bishop.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverend Dr. Roger Couch and the Reverend Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Members of the Golden Years Men's Sunday School Class at Jones Avenue Baptist Church are invited to serve as the Escort of Honor for the service.

Memorials may be made to Jones Avenue Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1688, Easley, SC 29641.

Family members are at their respective homes.
