COOKEVILLE Comer Lee Daniels, 83, of Cookeville died on Thurs., Feb. 3, 2005, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

A private burial in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery will be announced at a later date.

There will be no services or visitation.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1922, in Putnam County to the late Mart and Lola Ellis Daniels.

He was retired from American Standard as a sheet metal lay out man after 37 1/2 years of service.

He served in the Army during World War II and was honorably discharged.

His family includes his wife, Velma White Daniels of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Darus and Cindy Daniels of Royal Oak, Mich.; three grandchildren, Justin and Sonya Daniels and Jason Daniels, all of Royal Oak, and Mandy and Derek Talbot of Illinois; and a great-grandson, Dade Daniels.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
